FireScout Tech Notes

General

  1. Selecting Perform Search in the Layer Editor or clicking Create Movie in the Edit Video screen causes the error message, "Error creating file. Verify that the start/stop times are valid before continuing."
  2. When using Windows® Media Player to play a movie created by FireScout, only the title screen appears or the user receives the error message, "Cannot play back the file. The format is not supported."
  3. Selecting a video file from within FireScout causes the error message, "Run-time Error: Pin Connecting Error."
  4. Clicking Create Movie causes the error message, "Run-time Error: Printer Error."
  5. Selecting a game file that has been imported or copied, then clicking on Video produces the error message, "Run-time Error ‘53’: File not found."
  6. Clicking Create Movie causes the error message, "Run-time Error ‘380’: Invalid Property Value."

Basketball

  1. In the data entry window, clicking the Stop button in the video controls, then clicking QuikKey, produces the error message, "Run-time Error ‘13’: Type mismatch."
  2. Importing a game produces the error message, "Run-time Error ‘401’: Can't show non-modal form when modal form is displayed."
  3. Importing a game displays the error message, "Run-time Error ‘53’: File not found."
  4. Clicking Video in the Play Listing window after copying a game produces the error message, "Run-time Error ‘53’: File not found."
  5. Choosing the Untitled game file after receiving the error message "Run-time Error ‘13’: Type mismatch" produces the error message, "Run-time Error ‘340’:  Control array element ‘3’ doesn't exist."

Football

  1. Clicking on a game name in the Game Files list produces the error message, "Run-time Error ‘30014’: Invalid Column Width Value."
  2. Clicking the Delete button in the data entry window when the record number at the top indicates "(1 of 0)" produces the error message, "Run-time Error ‘63’: Bad record number."

Soccer

  1. Clicking Replay in the data entry window produces the error message, "Run-time Error ‘5’: Invalid procedure call or argument."
