ISSUE:
Clicking Create Movie causes the error message, "Run-time Error ‘380’: Invalid Property Value."

RESOLUTION:
This is a known issue. To work around this problem, install a generic printer that prints to file. Choose this printer as your default printer while creating a movie in FireScout.

  1. From the Start menu, choose Printers and Faxes.
  2. Click the Add a printer icon. The Add Printer Wizard will open.
  3. After reading the Welcome screen, click Next.
  4. Select Local printer attached to this Computer. Verify that the box labeled Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer is not checked. Then click Next.
  5. Select Use the following port. In the drop-down list, select FILE: (Print to File). Then click Next.
  6. In the scrolling list labeled Manufacturer, select Generic. In the scrolling list labeled Printers, select Generic/Text Only. Then click Next.
  7. Review the settings on the Name Your Printer screen, then click Next.
  8. Review the settings on the Printer Sharing screen, then click Next.
  9. On the Print Test Page screen, select No. Then click Next.
  10. Finally, click Finish.

To set the generic printer as the default printer, do the following.

  1. From the Start menu, choose Printers and Faxes. The default printer will have a black circle with a checkmark next to its icon.
  2. To change the default printer, click once on the generic printer.
  3. Under the File menu, select Set as Default Printer. The black circle with the checkmark should now be on this printer's icon.
  4. Close the Printers and Faxes window.
