ISSUE:
Importing a game produces the error message, "Run-time Error '401': Can't show non-modal form when modal form is displayed."

RESOLUTION:
This is a known issue. Rather than using Export Games and Import Games to duplicate games, use the Copy button.

Using Copy to Export a Game
Rather than exporting a game from FireScout, copy the game to a new directory.

  1. From the Game Files window, select the game you wish to copy.
  2. Click Copy at the bottom of the Game Files window.
  3. Select Copy file to another directory and enter the path to a directory in the corresponding entry box.
NOTE: If you wish to share the game file with another computer, choose either a shared network drive or a removable media as your destination directory.
  4. Click Copy. The game file will be copied to the directory you entered.

Using Copy to Import a Game
Rather than importing a game into FireScout, copy the game from another directory.

  1. Select any game from the Game Files window.
  2. Click Copy at the bottom of the Game Files window.
  3. Select Copy file from another directory and enter the path to a directory in the corresponding entry box.
  4. Click Copy.
  5. Select a game from the "Copy from" file selection window and then click Copy.

For more information about copying game files, see the User's Guide. A print version of the User's Guide is distributed with the product.
