QUESTION:
FireScout runs when I start it from Start › All Programs (or Programs). I created a shortcut to the program from the "VS2002" folder. I dragged it to the desktop, but the program will not run. What do I do now?

ANSWER:

1. Delete the shortcut that you created on the desktop.
2. From Start › All Programs (or Programs), select FireScout.
3. Right-click on the program's icon.
4. Select Create Shortcut from the menu. A new icon will appear at the bottom of the FireScout menu. It will have the same name as the original icon, followed by "(2)."
5. Click on the newly created shortcut and drag it to the desktop.

The shortcut on the desktop will now start FireScout.
