QUESTION:
How do I get my game video from my digital video camcorder to the hard drive of my computer?

ANSWER:

  1. After recording the game, connect the digital video camcorder to your computer using a FireWire® cable.
  2. Start Microsoft® Windows® Movie Maker on your computer.
  3. Select File › Record.
  4. Set Record: to Video only or Video and audio.
  5. Make sure that Record time limit: and Create clips are not checked.
  6. In the drop-down list labeled Setting:, select Other.... In the unlabeled drop-down list below, select DV-AVI (25 Mbps).
  7. Now press Play and then Pause on the digital video camcorder.
  8. Click Record in the Windows® Movie Maker window and press Play on the camcorder.
  9. When you have finished recording, click Stop in the Windows® Movie Maker window and press Stop on the camcorder.
  10. Save your file in the "VS2002" folder.
